Burrow attended Ohio State University from 2015 to 2017 before transferring to Louisiana State University (LSU) in 2018. While at LSU, he had a remarkable season in 2019 and became a prominent figure in college football. In that season, Burrow set numerous records and won several prestigious awards, including the Heisman Trophy, given to the best player in college football. His outstanding performance led LSU to a National Championship victory in the College Football Playoff, solidifying his status as one of the top prospects for the 2020 NFL Draft.

In the 2020 NFL Draft, Joe Burrow was selected as the first overall pick by the Cincinnati Bengals. He quickly became the starting quarterback for the team and showed promise and potential despite facing challenges in his rookie season. Unfortunately, his rookie year was cut short when he suffered a severe knee injury in November 2020, which prematurely ended his first NFL campaign.
